Inpex to hold 3D survey on Babar Selaru

Japan?s Inpex Corporation is preparing for a 3D seismic survey soon at the Babar Selaru block in the Arafura Sea, the block it secured last year.
Communication and Relationship Manager of Indonesian operation Alfred Menayang told petromindo.com that the survey is expected to take place in early 2013.
The block is located 100km southwest of the Saumlaki City in Tanimbar Islands and covers 8,170km2 with a water depth ranging from 200m to 2000m. It is located 60km northwest of the Abadi gas field in the Masela block, where Inpex is involved in developing as the operator.
