Inpex to resume Masela exploration campaign

Japan upstream firm Inpex Corp. will resume exploration drilling campaign at Masela offshore Block, Timor Sea, in the third quarter of this year, the company's Indonesian unit said.
Inpex Indonesia Spokesperson Alfred Menayang told Petromindo.Com on Tuesday that the company will drill Berkat prospek after drilling of Abadi-10 delineation well will be completed.
Currently Inpex is embarking on delineation drilling campaign at Masela, where a 2.5 MTPA floating LNG plant is planned. Alfred said that the rig has completed drilling Abadi-8 and Abadi-9 and Inpex is currently evaluating well test results.
"We hope to be able to add reserves at Masela through Berkat drilling," he said.
