Insani Baraperkasa spends US$ 1.16m for exploration

PT Resource Alam Indonesia Tbk said its coal subsidiary firm PT Insani Baraperkasa has spent around US$ 1.16 million in the first eight months to August this year for exploration.
Exploration activities focused on Loajanan, sub-block Tanjung Barokah and Tani Aman coal mining sites.
Insani adopted core drilling method HQ-3 with grid distance of between 30 to 50 meters.
The company said the mineralization testing results of the exploration is being evaluated. Going forward, exploration activities will focus on geology mapping to determine potential sub-block areas that are prospective for mining.
The company has secured approval from the Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry to enter production stage. (romel)
