Insani Baraperkasa to operate new coal infrastructure next year

The company said that it will complete the expansion works on the crushing plant in Loa Duri sub district, Kutai Kartanegara regency, expanding the capacity to 10.9 million tonnes per annum from current 7.7 million tonnes per annum.
The company is also constructing a new jetty facility with a stockpile capacity of 300,000 tonnes of coal which is called Sagara. The new stockpile will be used for its southern blocks area which is expected to start operation in the first quarter of 2012.
The company is targeting to nearly double its coal output next year to 6 million tonnes, from this year?s target of 3.5 million tonnes. Most of the coal would come from southern blocks such as Loajanan, Tani Bakti, Simpang Pasir, Handil Bhkati. (denny)
