Installation of two platforms in SES block to be conducted in April

A consortium led by PT Raga Perkasa Ekaguna (RPE) plans to install two new platforms, namely Nila and Asti, in South East Sumatra (SES) block offshore Lampung which is operated by China National Oil Offshore Company (CNOOC) SES Ltd., in April.
?The installation will take approximately two months to complete. Once the installation has been done, it will continue with hook-up and commissioning,? RPE?s President Director Iwan Gunawan told Petromindo.com.
He added that the value of the project is about US$43 million.
The South East Sumatra PSC is located in the shallow water (17-55 m) of the Java Sea in southeast of Sumatra, about 90 km northwest of Jakarta. CNOOC SES Ltd as operator has 65.54 percent interest in the block, while the remaining interest is owned by Pertamina Hulu Energi OSES (20.55 percent), Saka Energi Sumatra (8.91 percent), and KUFPEC Indonesia (SES) B.V. (5 percent).
