Intera Arun, Ratu Prabu bidding for ExxonMobil assets in Arun

PT Intera Arun Energy and PT Ratu Prabu Energy Tbk have expressed interest to jointly bid for ExxonMobil Indonesia assets in Block B Arun Aceh, North Sumatera offshore block and ExxonMobil ownership in PT Arun Natural Gas Liquefaction in Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam.

?PT Intera Arun Energy and Ratu Prabu Energy Tbk plan to submit bid for ExxonMobil assets in Aceh that are going to be divested by ExxonMobil. We are ready to compete,? President Director of PT Intera Arun Energy, Maman Budiman, told Petromindo.com.

Maman added his company has the capability to manage the planned sale of ExxonMobil assets because a number of employees of Intera Arun Energy are former employees of ExxonMobil and have worked on the Arun field.

He added his company will invite local government owned companies (BUMD) to take part in the consortium.

Maman said the consortium plans to submit bid document by the deadline December 15, 2011. ?We learn that at least 10 companies are bidding for the assets, including our consortium,? he said. (godang)
