International energy expo will be held in Jakarta in October

The Energy Indonesia Series 2002, an international energy exhibition featuring the latest progress in the country?s mining development, will be held in the Jakarta fairground between October 1 to October 4, this year.

The organizer PT Pamerindo Buana Abadi said in Jakarta on Wednesday that the energy exhibition will include four similar events including Oil and Gas Technology Exhibition, Indonesian Gas Conference, Indonesian Mining Exhibition and Electric and Power Exhibition.

Pamerindo?s project manager, Grace M. Sabandar, said that several countries including Australia, the Netherlands, Germany, Canada, Korea, Poland and England had expressed their commitment to support the exhibitions.

A number of local and international companies including Freeport, ABB, PT Gas Negara, Inco, Kenari Djaya Prima, Mitra Citrajasa, Pertamina, PLN, Rockwell Automation, Scheider, Siemens, Supra Technobelt and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources have also expressed their readiness to take part in the exhibitions.
