Interra reports lower Q3 oil output from S. Sumatra TAC

The following is an edited excerpt from SGX-listed firm Interra Resources Limited on Indonesian production activity, taken from quarterly report ended 30 Sept 2009 published on Tuesday.

Tanjung Miring Timur TAC, onshore South Sumatra (Interra 70%)
During Q3 2009, gross production was 44,193 barrels of oil, a decrease of 14% compared to the previous quarter.Mechanical difficulties in the lifting equipment resulted in significant down time. Oil movement and transportation equipment problems were experienced by the operator during the quarter.

Production and development costs for the period were US$922,897 and US$320,998 respectively.

A reassessment of the current production activities and plans, and an evaluation of the scope of future development strategy are underway by both the operator and Interra internally. (end of excerpt)
