Singapore-based oil company Interra Resources Limited reported Thursday oil production from the Tanjung Miring Timur block in South Sumatra had slightly increased to 721 barrels per day in the third quarter of 2005 from 719 BPD in the same quarter last year.
Interra holds a 70 percent of working interest in the Tanjung Miring. The company operates the block under a technical assistant contract with state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina.
Interra also reported that share of oil and gas output from the Offshore Northwest Java PSC (ONWJ) and the South East Sumatra PSC (SES) amounted to 306,000 barrels of oil equivalent in the third quarter this year.
