SGX-listed Interra Resources Ltd (Interra) said its wholly owned subsidiary, Goldwater TMT Pte. Ltd. (GTMT) had resumed drilling of TMT-53 using one of its two high quality contracted rigs currently active in the TMT field.

TMT-53 is proposed to be drilled to a total depth of 1,250 meters with the primary objective being the sandstone reservoirs of the Talang Akar Formation and the secondary objective being the carbonate reservoirs of the shallower Batu Raja Formation, the company said in a press statement on Wednesday.

The company announced on 28th November 2012 that it had suspended the drilling of TMT-53 at the Tanjung Miring Timur (TMT) field in South Sumatra, due to performance failures of the externally contracted rig.

The Company will announce the results as soon as they may be ascertained as well as updates reflecting critical or unexpected events during drilling.
