Inti Jatam Pura bags Baker Hughes sole distributorship

Malaysian firm Scomi Group Bhd announced Thursday that PT Inti Jatam Pura, a company owned by Indonesian interests but whose financial results (due to certain contractual arrangements in place) are consolidated with those of KMC Oiltools Bermuda Limited, a 92.5 % subsidiary of Scomi, has entered into a Distribution Agreement with Baker Hughes Oilfield Operations Inc.
Under the agreement, with an effective date of 1 October 2005, Inti Jatam Pura will act as the exclusive distributor for Baker Hughes Centrilift's pumps, seals, motors, sensors and related products and spare parts to oil and gas industry customers in Indonesia.
KMC Oiltools Bermuda Limited is the holding company of a group of companies operating internationally, and through which the Scomi group's integrated drilling fluids and waste management services are conducted.(alex)
