Intraco Penta eyeing coal mining sector

IDX-listed heavy equipment dealer company PT Intraco Penta plans to enter coal mining business.

Imam Liyanto, head of investor relations of Intraco Penta told reporter on Wednesday that the company has already prepared for entering coal mining business by establishing subsidiary PT Inta Resources in 2012.

"Currently we are seeking concession, especially the concession for joint operation, and it should have been in operation stage," he said.

Inta's subsidiary was established last year when the coal market was bearish.

"We just hold for a time being, while waiting for the better market, but now we are ready to develop the company," he said.
