Australia-listed miner Intrepid Mines Limited reported that a total of 55 holes were either completed, initiated or initiated and completed at Tumpangpitu copper-gold porphyry within its Tujuh Bukit Project during the quarter for a cumulative total of 12,579.55 meter.

This drilling is part of the ongoing in-fill drilling of the oxide and porphyry mineralization at Tumpangpitu, East Java, it said in its quarterly report.

Assay results from deep drill hole GTD-11-248, in the on-going drilling at the Tumpangpitu copper-gold porphyry, have returned the highest grade copper and gold intersection to date from a position east of the previously known porphyry mineralization boundary

The intersection was within an area previously identified as ?geological potential? and can therefore be reasonably expected to provide a significant increase in metal inventory to the global resource.
