IP, Adaro, Pelayaran sign coal transport agreement

Electricity producer PT Indonesia Power (IP), coal miner PT Adaro Indonesia, and shipping firm PT Pelayaran Bahtera Adiguna signed an agreement recently for coal transport from Adaro?s Tabaneo port in South Kalimantan to IP?s Suralaya power plant in Cilegon, Banten, for the period of 2014-2016.
The coal transport agreement follows a September deal between IP and Adaro, under which the former has agreed to buy coal from the latter, IP said in a statement obtained Thursday.
