IP: PQ invitation for Bali gas-diesel dual fuel power plant project

NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION
OF INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIVE BIDDING
PT Indonesia Power (IP), a power generation company which is a subsidiary of PT PLN (Persero), intends to build Gas Fired Diesel Power Plants (Dual Fuel) with total net dependable capacity around 200 MW (?Project?), in order to replace the existing diesel power plant at Pesanggaran, Bali. The Project will be financed by PT Indonesia Power?s own fund.
We invite reputable original or under license manufacturers of gas fired diesel engine, which are interested to participate in the international bidding for the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of the Project as main Centractor, either in the form of a single company or as a leader of Consortium with local EPC Company.
The bid will be conducted through International Competitive Bidding in Two Stages Bidding Process with pre-qualification, to select applicant that are eligible and have relevant experiences in implementing similar projects scope and size, and also meet the qualification criteria, based on certain administration, technical and financial criteria.
The general criteria shall be as follows:
? The applicant shall supply engine with minimum net dependable capacity of 16 MW each, The engine shall be capable using Gas and MFO, and also shall not be prototype (minimum 12,000 hours operation successfully proved by end-user statement letter).
? In case of under license Manufacturer, applicant shall have license agreement issued by the Original Engine Manufacturer.
? The Project shall use local content with minimum of 30% of Total Project Cost.
Interested parties are invited to submit applications in accordance with the PQ document.
Only applicants who meet all the criteria set forth in the PQ document will be invited to participate in the Bidding Process.
