PT Indonesia Power (IP), a subsidiary of State Electricity Company PLN claimed to have secured its coal supply for its power plants.

"Coal supply is secured for the next 24 to 26 days," said Indonesia Power Director Djoko Hastowo to Petromindo.com, adding that all coal price negotiations have been concluded.

"Coal need is decreasing due to production plan reduction in Suralaya, following the initiation of 10,000 MW power plant stage 1 project," he said.
