IPA welcomes SK Migas' quick response to WP&B proposals

The Indonesian Petroleum Association (IPA) expressed its appreciation toward SK Migas for accelerating the approval process of 2013 Work Program and Budget (WP&B) submitted by the PSCs.
IPA President Lukman Mahfoedz told petromindo.com that SK Migas Chairman/Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Jero Wacik has kept his promise to complete the WP&B approval before the end of the year.
Lukman however did not mention the targets stated under the 2013 WP&B, saying that SK Migas would release the figures officially soon.
"On behalf of IPA, we appreciate the works that have been put in by SK Migas, so that we can all enter the new fiscal year with certainty and confidence. We know that this approval process usually took a long time to complete. This is positive. Let's hope we could all execute those plans without much of barriers," Lukman said.
He added that Wacik made a promise on a December 12 meeting to approve all 2013 WP&B before the year ends.
