IRP to start construction of E. Kalimantan power plant soon

PT Indo Ridlatama Power (IRP), a subsidiary of PT Indonesia Power, is scheduled to start construction of a 2x27.5 MW coal-fired power plant in East Kalimantan next month.

Governor Awang Faroek said Monday that a ground-breaking ceremony to be led by Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Sudirman Said is scheduled for June 15.

He added that the US$114 million project is targeted to be completed next year.
