Gowa Regent Ichsan Yasin Limpo was quoted by Tribunnews.com as saying Tuesday that the Singapore investor had held discussions with his administration over the plan.
He added that ISDN would team up with a local administration-owned company in developing the project, which is expected to be complete by end of next year.
ISDN Holding, an integrated engineering solutions provider for various industries, said in July of this year that through its 80 percent-owned subsidiary PT Potensia Tomini Energi, the group has been invited by the Central Sulawesi government to develop a 126 MW hydropower plant at the Laa River in the province.
The company said that if realized, it would be the biggest hydropower project to be undertaken by ISDN, and its seventh hydropower project in Indonesia. (*)
