Israeli investor eyeing biofuel plantation in E. Nusa Tenggara

Israeli investor Merhavv Group is mulling investing US$700 million to develop biofuel project in the E. Nusa Tenggara province, an Indonesian entrepreneur said.
Merhavv Group would use jatropha curcas linn to produce biofuel in Sulamu in Kupang district, Indonesian private firm PT Mahattan director Sudiro Andiwiguna said on Sunday as quoted by Antara news agency.
Sudiro and Merhavv Group director Gideon Weinstein and two other Israeli businessmen, namely Jacgues Eshel and Yosef Ziv visited the jatropha curcas linn plantation in Sulamu on Friday.
