ITM reports increased coal supply volume commitments to its clients

IDX-listed coal group PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk (ITM), an Indonesian coal unit of Thai energy firm Banpu, as of December 31, 2012 has secured commitments to sell 69.7 million tons of coal for the period of 2012-2021, up around 9.7 million compared to the total in mid year of 2012.
For 2012, the company?s biggest clients were Adani Global Pte. Ltd followed by China Huaneng Group Co, Ltd, Shenhua Coal Trading Co. and Enel Trade SpA.
ITM has five coal producing mine subsidiaries operating in East and South Kalimantan, namely PT Indominco Mandiri, PT Jorong Barutama Greston, PT Kitadin, PT Trubaindo Utama and PT Bharinto Ekatama.
ITM sold 27.2 million tons of coal last year. It is targeting to sell around 28 million tons of coal for this year.
