ITM?s 2010 net profit declines by 39%

Publicly-listed PT Indo Tambangraya Megah, a subsidiary of Thai firm Banpu Plc, recorded a 39.15 percent decrease in net profit to US$204.151 million last year from $335.551 million in the previous year.

In a statement filed with the Jakarta Stock Exchange, the firm said the significant decline occurred despite a slight increase in sales. Sales rose to $1.668 billion from $1.508 billion. The firm?s financial obligation decreased to $368.682 million from $411.085 million.

The firm?s asset declined to $1.089 billion from $1.198 billion.

The firm sold 22.18 million tones of coal last year. (*)
