ITM seeks for extension of Kitadin production operation license

IDX-listed coal miner group PT Indo Tambangraya Megah (ITM) said that it is now processing to obtain the extension of production operation mining business license from the government for its Kitadin-Embalut mine in Kutai Kartanegara Regency, a company official told Petromindo.Com.
The mine?s production operation license will expire on Feb.25, 2013. ?The company is confident to obtain the extension of the license before that date,? the source said.
The mine produced 1.2 million tons of coal in 2011, same with last year?s output. This year the company is expecting to produce around same figure, the source added.
