ITM to sell 2.2 MT of coal to domestic

Indonesia-listed coal miner PT Indo Tambangraya Megah (ITM) is expected to sell 2.2 million tonnes (MT) of coal or around 9 percent from its total coal production target this year to domestic market.

ITM sells its coal to 2x300 MW Cilacap power plant in Central Java at a volume of 400,000 tonnes (5,300 kcal/kg) from its coal unit PT Jorong Barutama Greston and the remaining 1.8 million tonnes with calorific value of 6,250 kcal/kg is supplied to Tanjung Jati B power plant in East Java, a unit of state electricity firm PLN, .

For Tanjung Jati B power plant, the coal is sourced from other ITM?s coal units PT Indominco Mandiri, PT Trubaindo Utama, and PT Kidatin. (denny)
