ITMG achieves first quarter production target

IDX-listed coal mining company PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk (ITMG) said coal production in the first quarter of this year is in line with target.

This was revealed by Kirana Limpaphayom, President Director of ITMG, but did not disclose the coal production volume for the first quarter of this year as the company will only publish the first quarter operating and financial performances next week. As comparison, ITMG produced 5.3 million tons of coal in the first quarter of last year.

"At least we achieved or even better than the plan for the first quarter 2017," Limpaphayom said to Petromindo.com in the sidelines of the 23rd Coaltrans Asia in Bali on Monday.

ITMG said in a presentation material on February 27 said that coal output this year is expected to be relatively flat at 25.5 million tons compared to 25.6 million tons last year.
