ITMG nearly completes Bunyu port expansion

IDX-listed coal mining company PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk (ITMG) said that it has nearly completed the expansion of its Bunyut port facility in East Kalimantan, hoping to complete it in October of this year.
The company said in presentation materials unveiled last week that construction of a new crusher plant had already reached 92 percent of the targeted works.
It added the company was making preparation for commissioning of new barge loader capacity.
The expansion of the Bunyut port will increase its loading capacity to 15 million tons per annum from 9 mtpa to facilitate rising production at ITMG?s two coal subsidiaries in East Kalimantan including PT Trubaindo Coal Mining and PT Bharinto Ekatama in the future.
