ITMG says Jorong coal mine reserve to deplete in 2019

IDX-listed coal firm PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk (ITMG) said that reserve at its Jorong coal mine in South Kalimantan Province will deplete by 2019.
The company said in a recent presentation material that it has submitted the Jorong coal mine closure plan to the government for approval. ?It is being reviewed by the government for approval,? ITMG said.
The company announced last year its plan to close down the Jorong coal mine due to depleting reserve. The mine closure was expected to be realized in 2018.
Elsewhere, ITMG said that production at the Jorong coal mine, operated by subsidiary PT Jorong Barutama Greston, this year is targeted at 0.9 million tons.
