ITMG to build new crushing plant in Bharinto

IDX-listed coal mining and energy company PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk (ITMG) plans to build a coal crushing plant at its coal mine operation in North Barito Regency, Central Kalimantan Province, run by subsidiary PT Bharinto Ekatama.

This will be the company?s third crushing plant. It already have two crushing plants, each located at the mining operations of subsidiaries PT Indominco Mandiri and PT Trubaindo Coal Mining in East Kalimantan.

?There will be two crushing plants in Melak Cluster. One existing coal crushing plant is located in Trubaindo,? Yulius Gozali, Finance Director of ITMG, said on Monday referring to ITMG?s Trubaindo and Bharinto concessions. He did not provide further details about the planned new crushing plant project.

Yulius also said that the company will move the coal crushing plant in Indominco Mandiri concession from Indominco?s West Block to the East Block. ?The production output in West Block has gradually reduced while we are moving to East Block,? he said.
