J Resources close to meet full-year gold output

IDX-listed gold mining company PT J Resources Asia Pasifik Tbk (PSAB) said in a filing with the Indonesia Stock Exchange late last week that gold output as of September of this year reached 161,000 ounces.

The nine-month production is equal to about 80.5 percent of the company?s full-year target of 200,000 ounces.

The company last year produced 100,000 ounces of gold. J Resources has earlier said that the recently operated Bakan mine in North Sulawesi and Seruyung mine in East Kalimantan to provide significant additional output this year as each concession can produce 50,000 ounces.

The company also operates producing gold mines in Penjom, Malaysia, and Bolaang Mongondow, North Sulawesi.

Currently, J Resources is conducting explorations at Gunung Pani mine, in Gorontalo.
