J Resources hopes to complete Amdal for Pani gold project in July

IDX-listed gold mining firm PT J Resources Asia Pasifik Tbk said it hopes to be able to complete the environmental impact assessment (Amdal) of the Pani block in Gorontalo Province at the end of July as the company prepares to start development of the gold project.
J Resources Director Edi Permadi told Petromindo.com on Thursday that the company expects to get approval of the Amdal from the government in the following month. He did not provide further details.
J Resources through its subsidiary PT Gorontalo Sejahtera Mining (GSM) holds license for the 7,000-hectare Pani gold, located in Pohuwato Regency, Gorontalo. The company obtains an additional 100-hectare concession under a cooperation with local village cooperative, KUD Dharma Tani Marisa.
