J Resources Nusantara sign $275m loan facility

IDX-listed mining company PT J Resources Nusantara announced on Monday that it has signed an agreement on loan facility worth US$275 million with several local and foreign banks to refinance debt and finance several mining projects.

The banks are Indonesia Eximbank, Qatar National Bank S.A.Q, PT Bank QNB Kesawan Tbk, PT Bank Permata Tbk and PT Bank ICBC Indonesia.

The loan facility agreement was signed on Nov. 14, 2013.

The loan with a tenor until 2017 will be used to repay remaining debts owed to PT Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk and Indonesia Eximbank and finance the gold production projects in Bakan, North Sulawesi and Seruyang, Central Kalimantan and a project aimed to increase gold production in Penjom, Malaysia.
