J Resources obtains permit for Bukit Berkah gold mine

IDX-listed gold mining firm PT J Resources Asia Pasifik Tbk said that it has obtained the required permit for the development of the Bukit Berkah gold mine in Malaysia, which is located near its Penjom gold project in Terengun area.

J Resources said in a statement on Wednesday that its team is also currently conducting exploration activities in Terengun in the hope to obtain significant reserves in the area by the end of this year. The company?s initial study shows good mineral potential in the area.

J Resources through subsidiary J Resources Gold UK Ltd operates gold assets in Malaysia. The company?s gold concessions in the country as per end of last year totaled 1,221.83 hectares, with JORC compliant proven and probable gold ore reserves of 552 koz, and 1.31Moz of measured, indicated, and inferred mineral resources.
