IDX-listed gold mining firm PT J Resources Asia Pasifik Tbk targets to produce 200,000 ounces of gold next year, up from this year?s output which is estimated at 70,000 ounces.

?The production volume is expected to increase because this month, two more concessions of ours are scheduled to start production, namely the Bakan concession in North Sulawesi and the Seruyang concession in North Kalimantan. Each of the concessions has the production capacity of 55,000 ounces,? William Surnata, a director of the company, said in a public expose in Jakarta on Wednesday.

Including the two concessions, the company will have four gold mines that have come into production in the near future. Two other concessions that have come into production are Penjom in Malaysia and North Lanut in North Sulawesi.

?We shall still export all our gold to Australia next year,? William said.

Aside from the four concessions, the firm has four other concessions, namely Bulagidun, Polangitang, and Pani, all located in Gorontalo; and Doup in North Sulawesi.

?The Pani and Doup concessions are in the phase of processing AMDAL license. Hopefully, they have come into production in 2015,? Edi Permadi, another director of the company, said.

The two other concessions are still in exploration phase, Edi said.
