Jade Technologies in W. Sumatra coal mining contract negotiation

Singaporean firm Jade Technologies Holdings Ltd. announced on Tuesday that its Indonesian indirect subsidiary PT.Union Investments is in final negotiation stage with PT.Dasacita Pusaka Prima to carry out mining contract and logistics services at the latter?s coal mine in West Sumatra.

According to the company, Dasacita controls mining area of 184 hectares with 4.3 million tonnes of reserves, expected to be of premium metallurgical grade of 7,000-8,400 Kcal/kg with sulphur content of 0.24 percent.

Dasacita plans to expand the area to 7,000 hectares, the company said. (alex)
