Jaipuria starts production from E. Kalimantan mine

Indian firm Jaipuria Group has started coal production from its East Kalimantan mine unit PT Anggana Kaltim Indonesia (AKI) in April this year.

Director Ruchirans Jaipuria told Petromindo.Com on Monday that AKI is set to produce 40,000 tonnes of coal per month for 2009 and output would be ramped to 1.2-1.5MTPA the following years.

Jaipuria said all of AKI?s production are sold to domestic coal traders.

AKI produces low rank coal from the mine which is located in East Kutai regency.
