Jakarta-Cikampek elevated toll road completed in September

PT Jasamarga Jalan Layang Cikampek (JJC), a subsidiary of tollroad listed operator PT Jasa Marga Tbk (JSMR) said the construction of the elevated Jakarta-Cikampek II toll road is targeted to be completed at end September 2019.
“The physical construction (of the project) is now 86 percent complete,” President Director of PT JJC Djoko Dwijono said in Jakarta on Friday.
The construction is targeted to be completed in September 2019 and then followed by testing whether the toll road functions well and clear for starting of commercial operation, he added.
He said there are only remaining 139 steel box girder to be installed out of total 2,585 steel box girder, that are needed for the elevated toll road.
The completion of the elevated Jakarta-Cikampek toll road is expected to ease congestion in the toll road.
