Jambi coal miner starts production

Jambi coal miner PT Renuka Jambi has started production from its mine in Sarolangun regency since September.
Director Ganesh mane told Petromindo.Com that the mine is currently producing at capacity of 50,000 tonnes. He said output from the mine will be ramped up to 1MT next year. The mine?s production capacity is 1.5MTPA with mineable reserves of 40 million tonnes, he said.
The mine produces coal with CV of 5,000-5,500kcal/kg (ADB), ash content of 4-6%, low sulfur and moisture content of 36-38%.
He welcomes any party interested to buy the company?s coal.
Currently, the company is now loading 50,000 tonnes of coal with handymax vessel bound to undisclosed Indian customer, he said. (denny)
