Jangkrik-4 drilling completed

The drilling of the Jangkrik-4 (JKK-4) development well in the Muara Bakau block, Kutai Basin, offshore East Kalimantan which is operated by Italian oil and gas firm ENI SpA was completed early this week, according to an industry source.
?The drilling of the first development well of Jangkrik field named JKK-4 started three weeks ago using the Scarabeo 7 rig,? the source told Petromindo.com.
Scarabeo 7 rig is a fifth generation ultra deepwater semi-submersible type owned by Italian firm Saipem SpA, capable of operating in water depths of up to 5,000 feet.
ENI is the operator and 55 percent interest holder of the Muara Bakau block, while the remaining 45 percent is held by GDF Suez.
