Italian oil giant Eni said that the Jangkrik field offshore East Kalimantan will reach peak production of 80,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd) in 2018, one year after production is expected to start.
The company in its annual report released recently said that the Jangkrik project includes linkage of production wells to a floating production unit for gas and condensate treatment and the construction of a transportation facility to the Bontang liquefaction plant.
Jangkrik field is located within Muara Bakau PSC, where Eni is the operator and 55 percent interest holder.
