Jarman installed as new electricity director general

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Darwin Z. Saleh installed on Friday Jarman as new director general of electricity, replacing Jack Purwono who has been accused by the Anti-Corruption Commission (KPK) of being implicated in a corruption case.

Previously, Jarman was a high-ranking official at the Ministry of State Enterprises.

Darwin also installed Dede Ida Suhendra as director of mineral enterprise supervision. Previously, he was head of environmental supervision subdirectorate at the ministry's technical directorate. (godang)
