ASX-listed Jatenergy Lt said Friday that the Jongkang coal mine in East Kalimantan will soon resume production, expecting 10,000-15,000 tons per month of output.

?Jongkang soon to be in production. Subject to higher coal prices, (we) would be expecting 10,000-15,000 tons per month,? the company said in a presentation material.

?Site is ready for production, awaiting the appointment of a contractor to site. (But) Due to low margin, (it is) increasingly difficult to find contractors on site,? it added.

The Jongkang coal mine is located in East Kalimantan approximately 5 km along an existing haul road from the Mahakam River, and about 25 km from a major hub of Indonesia?s coal industry at Samarinda, each concession is covered by a production license comprising 100 hectares.
