JC Holding to build power plant in Palembang

JC Holding Ltd Singapore to build a 150 MW gas fired power plant in Karya Jaya area in the South Sumatra capital of Palembang with total investment of about US$150 million, according to the mayor of Palembang Eddy Santana Putra. Media Indonesia reported on Saturday.
"JC Holding has expressed its commitment to develop the power project," Mayor Eddy said on Friday following the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the Singaporean company.
The mayor said that the city administration fully supported the company's plan and would try to provide incentives to allow the company to carry out the project according to the schedule. (*)
