Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Jero Wacik is scheduled to be questioned by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) on today in relation to the high profile bribery case involving the suspended chairman of the upstream oil and gas authority SKK Migas Rudi Rubiandini.

Ministry spokesman Abdurrahman told Petromindo.com that the ministry?s team has been on a standby at the KPK building. Jero failed to show up at a previous questioning on November 26 as he was out of Jakarta.

The KPK has previously questioned Secretary General of the Ministry, Waryono, after KPK investigators discovered US$200,000 worth of cash at his office several days after the arrest of Rudi, who has been caught red handed of receiving bribe money from a Singapore-based oil trader.
