The Jakarta Futures Exchange (JFX) is set to launch end of this month a second coal bid via its on-line trading platform, Bisnis Indonesia reported on Thursday.
JFX President Director Sherman Rana Khrisna was quoted as saying that coal giant PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) is expected to offer up to 100,000 tons of coal to participating traders.
The JFX launched in early July the country?s first coal futures contract, with PTBA as the only coal producer offering coal via the on-line platform.
Sherman said the JFX will continue to promote the coal contract, hoping that more producers and traders will participate in the on-line bid. (*)
