ASX-listed Indo Mines Ltd?s 70 percent-owned local subsidiary PT Jogja Magasa Iron (JMI) has decided to revise the design and feasibility study of a planned pig iron project in Yogyakarta after the original location of the plant has been moved to comply with the request of the government which is planning to develop an airport near the initial project location.
JMI Director of Human Resources Development and Community Development, Heru Priono was quoted by Tribunnews.com Friday as saying that new feasibility study is expected to be completed in August of this year, which will be submitted to the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources for approval.
?Once (the FS is) approved, we?ll build (the plant) in line with the new changes,? said Heru following a presentation about progress of the project before the Yogyakarta?s Kulonprogo Regency administration. (*)
