JOB Pertamina-Medco ready to drill one well in Simenggaris PSC

Upstream authority SKK Migas announced on Friday JOB Pertamina-Medco Simenggaris is ready to drill one exploration well, South East Sembakung (SES) #1 in Simenggaris PSC, Nunukan, East Kalimantan in early 2015.
JOB Simenggaris?s General Manager Sri Budiyani paid a courtesy call on Friday on Nunukan?s Vice Regent Ashmah Gani to report the plan.
Budiyani explained JOB Simenggaris has yet to produce but the firm has found gas in several wells in South Sembakung, Pidawan, Sesayap dan Bajul Besar. Based on plans, the gas will be used for power generation by sate owned electricity firm PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN).
Budiyani expressed expectation the local govenrment will support the project by issuing necessary licenses. Asmah promised the local government will support the project.
