JOB Pertamina-Medco Tomori to conduct 3D seismic survey

Joint Operating Body (JOB) Pertamina and Medco E&P Tomori Sulawesi, the operator of Tomori Block in Luwuk, Central Sulawei will soon conduct seismic 3D survey in order to optimize the development of Senoro gas field, the JOB General Manager Indra Setiarja said.

To ensure the seismic survey goes ahead smoothly, the company will hold public hearing (socialization) with local community on Dec 22-24, 2011. ?The seismic 3D survey will be carried out early next year,? Indra told Petromindo.com

Indra said the survey is aimed to determine the location of well drilling within the Senoro gas field. The operator is planning to kick off drilling of the field in 2013 with a target of 11 developing wells. Drilling of exploration wells is scheduled for 2013 in offshore area.

Joint Operating Body (JOB) Pertamina Medco E&P Tomori Sulawesi joint operation between PT Pertamina Hulu Energy and PT Medco E&P Indonesia. The JOB operates the Senoro-Toili and Matindo fields. The gas from the fields will be delivered to Donggi-Senoro LNG plant. (godang)
