JOB Pertamina - Talisman to drill five wells this year

Joint Operating Body (JOB) Pertamina – Talisman (Ogan Komering) Ltd plans to drill two wells in Air Serdang structure and three others in Guruh structure this year, in the villages of Paninjauan and Saung Naga, Ogan Komering Ulu, South Sumatra, Sriwijaya Post reported on Friday. 

“Out of the five wells, GRH-3X well located on a land of 13,850 m2 had been completed. Two other wells are in the course of drill preparation and the remaining two are in preliminary survey stage,” Operation Superintendent Indra Utama said in Baturaja.

 Paninjauan and Saung Naga villages are part of Ogan Komering Block. Talisman holds 50 percent interest and the remainder are owned Pertamina.

At present, oil production from the area is about 5,000 barrels per day. (*)
