JOB-PMEPS to drill SES-1 well in Q4

Joint Operating Body Pertamina-Medco E&P Simenggaris (JOB-PMEPS) plans to drill the South East Sembakung-1 (SES-1) exploration well, in Simenggaris PSC, North Kalimantan, in the fourth quarter (Q4) of this year.
This was said by J. Borgot Simanjuntak, Community Development and Land Acquisition Officer of JOB-PMEPS on Monday. He said that the company has been making preparations including public campaign in early February for the drilling program held at the Tepian Village, Sembakung District, Nunukan Regency.
He added that land acquisition for the drilling program has been started since November 2014.
The Simenggaris PSC is located in Tana tidung Regency, North Kalimantan Province bordering to the Malaysian state of Sabah. The block is operated by JOB Pertamina-Medco E&P Simenggaris (JOB-PMEPS), in which Medco holds 62.5 percent interest and the balance is owned by Pertamina.
