JOB-PPEJ reports gas, oil flows from Sumber-1 well after DST-4

Joint operation body of PT Pertamina-Petrochina East Java (JOB-PPEJ) said the fourth drill stem test (DST-4) on the Sumber-1 exploration well in the Tuban block, East Java, has resulted in flows of gas and oil.

General Manager of PPEJ, Eddy Fritz told Petromindo.com that the DST-4 was carried out on November 11 and has flowed in 22 mmscfd of gas and 500 bpd of oil.

Previous reports have said that the Sumber-1 well is expected to provide additional oil reserves of about 9.5 million barrels.

PPEJ has set production target for this year at 40,000 bopd.
